To change your Spotify display name on Desktop, Mac or PC: –
Login to Spotify Click on the downward arrow beside your profile photo (top right) Select Profile from the menu Click on your profile name Replace your existing name with a new name of up to 30 characters Click on Save to update your new public facing display name
Note your profile name (Spotify username) can be changed as many times as you wish and will be the only name that other users on Spotify see.

Why can’t I change my Spotify username?
Username and display name – Spotify Your username is designed to identify you on Spotify, so you can’t change it. You don’t need your username to log in. Instead, use your email address and password or log in with the method you used to sign up e.g. Facebook, Apple, or your phone number.
A display name replaces the username where it shows on your profile, app, and playlists. Note: You can’t use your display name to log in.

Your username is designed to identify you on Spotify and unfortunately, it’s permanent and therefore unchangeable. You can also use it to log into your Spotify account, though you can use your email address or Facebook/Apple/Google account instead. Your Spotify display name is what appears publicly on your account when others view your profile and playlists.
