Pokemon GO ‘s Celebi Special Research quest is now live in the game, and it gives players a series of objectives they have to complete if they want to add the mythical Pokemon Celebi to their collection. A couple of these objectives revolve around Eevee, with the first tasking players with evolving Eevee into Espeon.
Many Pokemon GO players are likely aware of the “name trick” that allows them to control Eevee’s evolution. However, some may not know that this trick only works the first time Eevee is evolved into that particular Pokemon, so if players already have an Espeon using the name trick (nicknaming Eevee “Sakura” before evolving it), then they will have to find another method.
Luckily, there is another way players can make Eevee evolve into Espeon. To evolve Eevee into Espeon without using the name trick, players need to walk with the Eevee they want to evolve for 10km.
