How do I setup my Xfinity remote?
How to Program Xfinity Remote to TV –
- Download the Xfinity My Account app on your Android or iOS device.
- Launch the app and sign in with your Xfinity account details.
- Now, tap on the TV icon followed by selecting your TV Box, and finally Setup Remote option.
- Now, select the model of the remote that you wish to program.
- When you select your remote, tap on Continue.
- You can choose between TV or Audio Device to begin programming the remote to your TV or Audio Device.
- That’s it.
How do I reset my Xfinity remote for a new TV?

I generally write about cable modems and WiFi routers, but one of my readers who bought an after reading my post needed help with remote codes that work with Comcast remotes. However, if you don’t see anything, we suggest trying the following solutions and always check whether the symptom is resolved after each step:

- Check whether you need a fresh pair of batteries
- Perform a Power reset: Un-plug the TV power cord for 60 secs (or 2 minutes for Android TVs) and plug back in. Alternatively, for Android TVs perform a reset by holding down the power button on the remote control for 5 seconds
- Perform a TV software update
- Perform a factory reset*
*IMPORTANT:
- For Android TVs: Be aware that if you perform a factory reset, all of your TV’s data and settings (Wi-Fi and wired network setting information, Google account and other login information, Google Play and other installed applications, etc.) will be erased, and the TV will return to how it was at the time of purchase.
- For non-Android TVs: This procedure will reset the video calibration settings of the TV.
